Description

I’d like to take advantage of the nice weather and only have time for a short tour tomorrow.
T/c apply: fast and sporty & no Kaffee und Kuchen stop at Kolbensattelhütte 😉

I have to be in muc before 6pm to prepare myself for the art exhibition. 

* Kofel, Winteraufstieg über Marxersteig

**The Kofel is a 1,342-metre

mountain in the Bavarian Alps of Germany.

With its distinctive white head it is the

signature mountain of the town of

Oberammergau, from which the summit is

only about one km away. Due to its

prominent location and unique shape it can

be identified from a considerable distance

both from the direction of Ettal and that of

Unterammergau.

🥾🧤🧣Please be prepared for winter conditions on the trail:❗️spikes is a MUST HAVE, gaiters, head lamp, hiking shoes with a good profile (we are not going to walk in the park), layered outdoor clothing, sunglasses, gloves, etc. (as experienced hikers, you know what should be in your Rucksack 😉)

Community update. Kofel: Der Marxersteig ist komplett schneefrei, am Kofelsteig lag nur wenig Schnee. Bis zum Zahn auch kein Schnee (aber eisig). Kurz vor dem Gipfel Am Zahn lag deutlich mehr Schnee, stellenweise bis zum Knie – aber gut machbar. Sonnenberggrat: nicht gespurt, viel Schnee.
