It is sunny in Ticino on Sunday!

Meeting point:  bus stop Sementina, via Locarno - 10:05 am

Getting there: The starting time (10:10) makes it possible to take the train IR46 from Zürich at 08:05 to Arth Goldau 08:45, then the IC21 from Arth Goldau at 08:49 to Bellinzona 09:42, then the bus B2 at 09:52 to Sementina, via Locarno 10:05.

If you come by car, you can park for free in via alla Serta .

Pace: Moderate pace. ~400 elevation per hour, spending ~3 hours going up. Then have lunch at ~13:00 at the top. I expect the hike to take ~7 hours, being back down at sunset. The snow will make it slower up toop.

Grade: T2, have shoes with good grip. There will still be snow on the higher elevation to the restaurant, bring snow spikes.

(If we must, we will divert and stay lower and not go to the restaurant. However, the restaurant had nice coffee and cake last time, so we've got motivation!)
