Winter hike to Buggi from Sisikon (Ct. UR)

Level medium - i.e., not for absolute beginners - around 1'000m uphill elevation, 10 km length

The weather is promised to be partially sunny on Saturday.

There will be some snow on the top, but probably not much. I expect to find the path partially muddy and slippery.

Start from Sisikon, Hauptstrasse at 10:00 am.

By public transportation:

• IR 75 Zürich HB 08:35 - Zug 09:02
• S2 Zug 09:07 - Brunnen 09:40
• EV1 Brunnen, Bahnhof 09:44 - Sisikon, Hauptstrasse (Hotel Restaurant Sternen) 09:55

By car: parking at Bahnhof Sisikon

Pace: ~300/350 uphill meters per hour.

If you come by public transportation, click on "Carpool" and "Add Car", and add the train as a car.

Recommended gear: Hiking shoes/boots; dress in layers; sunscreen; hiking poles.

Don't forget to bring your own food, we won't find any restaurant/hut on the way.
