9:00 Start in Steinerberg.

Around 12:00 Break at the Gnipen. We've now hiked 5.5km and almost all the elevation gain. Later, we could stop for a drink at the Wildspitz or Halsegg restaurant.

Highlights: Trail goes through the historic 1806 landslide area, passing huge Nagelfluh boulders. culminating at the Gnipen summit with stunning views of Lake Zug, Rigi, Fronalpstock, Mythen....

End in Sattel between 15:00 and 17:00 depending on how fast we hike and how many breaks we take😊.

It's not a winter hike. There might be a little snow on the path right at the top, but nothing serious.

If someone is arriving by car. at the end of the hike there is a train station, the train takes only 7 minutes from Sattel to Steinerberg where we started the hike.
