Let's climb Heuberg, Wasserwand (optional) and Kitzstein (SAC T3). It is going to be cold, it is predicted to snow, it is also predicted to rain, but we hike anyway! 😁💪

Important:

• The event is rated SAC T3 (URL: SAC difficulty levels). You should be very comfortable with this difficulty level, as we are attempting this in winter under snow and rain conditions. Absolute beginners will be removed!
• You can expect a moderate pace of 300-350 m/h
• There is ~5 cm snow in the region as of now. But, it will snow and rain when we are hiking. So, be prepared.
• Wasserwand is optional. It is rated SAC T3. However, it is a bit steep and secured by a rope. We can skip it, it if the conditions are bad.
• I reserve the right to cancel the event in case the weather is terrible, or no one else joins the event

Things to bring:

1. A good mood and a smiling face 😁 (Non-negotiable!)
2. ID proof and emergency contact details 🙏 (please place this safely in your backpack. You don't have to share it with the organizer out of privacy concerns, but it must be in your backpack/wallet for emergencies)
3. Fully-charged headlamp (Must have)
4. Layered clothes, gloves, gaiters, spikes (Must have! )
5. Hiking poles (recommended)
6. Deutschland ticket (please buy a ticket if you don't have one)
7. DAV insurance (highly recommended)
8. Enough water (~2 lt)
9. Food and snacks (We can stop at Deindl-Alm if time permits)
