• Jack Wolfskin will cover the cost of fuel + parking (up to 50 EUR per car for max 3 cars)

Participation criteria: 

• You have no objections in being photographed -- the pictures will be used in social media.
• You have participated in at least 5 group hikes (with at least 5 participants) in 2025

Car eligibility for reimbursement (up to 50 EUR): 

• The starting point must be in Munich
• Must take at least 3 passengers (not counting the car owner) with them

We may deviate from the route depending on the conditions.

The route starting point lies in Austria, so please carry the documents with yourself that you usually carry for border crossing.

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T2, however depending on snow conditions it may feel a bit more challenging. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T2.

We will stop at Kala Alm for a late lunch. However, this is already at 1360m, so bring enough food/drink for the whole day to avoid starvation/dehydration. If there is enough snow we will prefer to sledge from the hut to valley during descent.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Headlight (just in case)
• Cash for the food/drink at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Some tolerance for rainy weather
• [Optional] Jack Wolfskin hiking gear if you have.

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
