Description

ο»ΏLet's do a snowshoeing hike this weekend. It is going to be cold, there is a lot of snow, but we hike anyway! 😁πŸ’ͺ

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Important:

  • There is a MVG strike on Saturday (28.02.2026). This is not expected to affect DB connections. Be prepared just in case.
  • There is significant snow in the region (50 - 100 cm). This is a snowshoeing event. Please do not join if you don't have snowshoes (Please Google snowshoes πŸ™). There is no way you can keep up with the group without snowshoes.
  • The event is rated SAC T2 (URL: SAC difficulty levels). You should be very comfortable with this difficulty level, as we are attempting this in winter under snow and rain conditions.
  • You can expect a moderate pace of 300 m/h.
  • I reserve the right to cancel the event in case of terrible weather, other unforeseen circumstances, or if no one else joins the event.
