Hi all,

Join me on this short hike to Lenggrieser Waxenstein (1310 m). 

• We’ll hike together, as one group, with a moderate pace of 350-400m of ascent per hour. Please do not join if you are significantly slower or faster. 
• We’ll take a break at one of the open huts on the way (or back in Lenggries), anyway bring enough food and water for the whole day!
• The weather will be nice and warm, but there is still snow on the route. Some of the hiking paths are now ski slopes, so we might need to adjust our route, or to use the same ascent route for the descent.
• The last ascent to the peak can be a bit tricky if there is snow. Please be prepared and use your own judgement before joining the event.
• In case of bad weather forecast, I reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event. If the weather turns bad during the hike, we’ll go back or change the route.
• The link to the WhatsApp group will be posted in the comments section the day before the hike. Please join the group to get the latest updates.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Layered clothing according to the latest weather forecast
• Spikes
• Gaiters
• Hiking poles
• Headlamp
• Cash for the hut
• Food and water for the whole day
• DAV insurance or similar
• A good mood 😊

Note: Please unjoin well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event less than 12 hours before its start.
