Description
...a couple of years ago, in April, I went hiking in Kufstein and saw many beautiful flowers on the way to Gamskogel. Of course, I’m not a flower expert, so I had to google what kind of plants they were. It turned out they were Christmas roses, and their blooms are quite a famous natural spectacle in the Kufsteinerland (especially near Brentenjoch Alm).
So the plan is to try to see them again.
Of course I can’t guarantee they will be there 100%, but I’d like to try and enjoy the sun and the beautiful views of the Wilder and Zahmer Kaiser tomorrow. Two crosses (Gamskogel & Jagnhügel) and a couple of nice viewpoints are also in the program 😉. I think all the huts on the way are closed (Weinberghaus, Brentenjoch Alm, Kaindlhütte), so we should bring our own food and snacks.

thanks for joining the hike today! I hope you enjoyed seeing the Christmas roses and the other plants.
