Note: this is the same hike as those going on Saturday, but we go on Sunday instead. :)
The hike from Lenggries to Seekarkreuz is a nice and relaxed tour in the Bavarian Alps, perfect for a day outdoors. The trail goes through forests and alpine meadows, with great views as you get closer to the summit.
The climb is steady but not too difficult, so it’s a good choice if you have a decent fitness level. At the top, you get a beautiful panoramic view, which makes the hike totally worth it.
The tour takes about 5 hours in total, and good hiking shoes are recommended since some parts can be a bit steep. Overall, it’s a great trip if you want to enjoy nature close to Munich.
Regarding the pace, I would like us to keep a steady pace so that we don't get cold. But, it is definitely also not a race.
