Description

Weather is promising to be really good this Saturday, so I invite me to join me to a trip to the Allgäu,
visiting the mountains Spießer and shortly after Großer Hirschberg and then have a break at the sun terrace of the Hirschalpe

We take the train at 6:51 to Sonthofen arriving at 8:59 and starting the hike from there.

For the return, we take a short bus from Bad Hindelang back to Sonthofen and get back from there

This is not a difficult hike but you should have enough stamina to manage the elevation gain and the 18km

We will have a break at the Hirschalpe which is located after the tops but bring enough food to survive till then

Cost depends on the number of people showing up, we will use Bayern tickets, should be around 10-12€ each.

Good to know

We meet at 6:35 at track 30 at the Munich main train station. Please be on time so we have enough time to buy the tickets.

Please bring

  • hiking boots / trail runners
  • proper hiking clothing (not accepting anybody with Jeans and / or Sneakers)
  • hiking poles if you have
  • food & snacks
  • Water (I would recommend at least 2 Liters)
  • head lamp (should not be needed but just in case)
  • some cash
  • good mood
  • sunglasses & sun cream
  • charged phone (my number is 0177/9768273)
  • DAV or similar insurance highly recommended
