On 31st May, I plan on taking on an absolutely spectacular adventure across the Bavarian Alps: a full ridge traverse over six summits around Tegernsee.
Setzberg (1706 m)
Risserkogel (1826 m)
Stümpfling (1506 m)
Bodenschneid (1669 m)
Brecherspitz Vorgipfel (1643 m)
Brecherspitz (1685 m)
Expect:
breathtaking alpine views 🌄
dramatic ridge walks 😎
questionable life choices halfway uphill 🥲
“quick photo and drone stops” 📸
This is not just a hike — it’s a full-day quest powered by snacks, stubbornness, and group suffering.
Bring good shoes, enough water, weatherproof layers, and the emotional strength to hear me say “the hardest part is behind us” multiple times.
Important: if the weather decides to become chaotic mountain nonsense, I may move the hike to another date. Alpine views are great; alpine thunderstorms are less fun.
Who’s in? ⛰️
Mandatory Things:
- Good Mood
- Food & Drinks
- Headlamp
- Deutchlandticket/DAV card (if you have it)
- Sunscreen
- First Aid Kit
Disclaimer: Please note that this list is not exhaustive and every participant should conduct their own research and self-assessment before joining. Additionally, please be advised that I am not a mountain guide and hiking can be risky. Therefore, you are responsible for your own safety and must familiarize yourself with the route and its requirements. I recommend downloading a map and bringing a cell phone for emergencies.
