Description
Have you ever had a Halloween party 1429m above the sea level? Everything happens for the first time! Join me for making lifetime memories, friends and having great fun on the first weekend of November. I have booked a hut for 28 passionate Hiking Buddies, we can spend the entire weekend in the mountains hiking, climbing, after will spend fun a Halloween night (costumes are required) in the hut with some good food and gluhwein. 

  • Departure time from Munich is 7 am, we start hiking at 8:30
  • Meeting point Parkplatz Kreuzeck- Alpspitzbahn, cars will be parked there for the night. Parking is free.
  • From there we will take a cable car (take 15 euro for it) and walk to the hut (20 min)
  • There is an option to hike to the hut instead of taking a cable car. It’s 2.5 hours and can’t be combined with a hike to Alpspitze (would be too long)
  • After the cable car ride we will have a branch in the hut 
  • Continue hiking: There will be 2 alternative routes - with and without via Ferrata (level B). You need a Ferrata set, helmet and gloves if you would like to take the Ferrata route.

What to take with you
..For hiking: 
  • hiking boots
  • Crampons, Gaiters - recommended in case it snows 
  • We might do a Via Ferrata route - it will be alternative and not for the entire group. So if you are up for ferrata, take your ferrata set, harness, gloves and helmet
  • warm clothes (it might rain and snow) 
  • drinking water, snacks if you need
..For the night
  1. Food and drinks need to be paid in advance. To make it easier for everyone, I will take care of these 2 important topics, it will include a healthy festive dinner, some alcohol (no crazy liquors as we don’t wanna be hangovered the next day) and breakfast. I will investigate the catering options, PM me know if you can recommend something or have particular dietary requests. 
  2. Costumes are obligatory (not possible to come without a costume!). Be creative and fun.  it does not have to be hiking-related (but it can if you like), you don't need to wear it during the hike. It can be scary, sexy, silly, playful 
  3. Hut sleeping bag. There are pillows and blankets in the hut, you need the bag for personal hygiene
  4. There is only cold water in the hut and no showers
  5. A personal mug, plate and cutlery in case there are not enough in the hut. I'm not planning to buy disposable tableware for ecological reasons 
  6. Shoes to wear inside the hut, hiking boots are not allowed inside. Think of something warm and comfy for the whole night - the floor can be cold. 
  7. Food and drinks for dinner and the breakfast will be arranged by me, there should be enough choice for different tastes, but if you have some special wishes - let me know. Saturday and Sunday lunches tbd when the hiking routes are planned.
