Description

Please read it carefully till the end!

There is a chance of rain in the evening please keep a rain jacket.

Maximum participants: 10

Meeting point: Munich HBF, in front of platform 28

Meeting time: Friday, 06:30 am

Public transport: We will take Regional Train departing at 06:51. We need to ta ke translfer at Kempten. We reach Oberstdorf at 09:18 , which is the start and end point of our hike. During the descent one can use scooter from Oytal haus, which will save approximately 7 km (i.e., instead of 25 km, we would walk 18 km), but we are not planning for it.

Departure time of return connections: 18:39 (take ~3 hours), or 21:41 (~2:30 hours)

"Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T3, although for most part it is T2. Please read the blog to understand the requirement for sac scale T2 and T3.

Hiking with a group many times changes the fix plan due to many things can happen in the mountain, so please stick to the group and share the pain together; if you dont wanna do that please dont join this hike.

If you want to comeback early, dont join this hike.

If I don't know you, please send me a message before joining this hike. I have full right to deny you into the hike if I feel that you are not fit for the group hike.

Note: Please unjoin the hike well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.

We try to make it faster than last two hikes I organized because this is a hike of 25 km and it gets dark early nnowadays

Instead of this route on the event ,we will follow Marcos's route (https://www.hiking-buddies.com/routes/routes_list/1170/)).

UPDATE:

As I have mentioned we use Marcos trail which starts from Christlesee. So we need to take Bus No 8 from Oberstdorf which starts from Busbahnhof Oberstdorf at 09:45 and will reduce the walk of 5/6 km. Also, the nice part starts from there.

If we still see the red water at the lake, I need to carry some sample!

To have a glimpse what we are going to see.. please have a look at the album Marco had shared. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.2418830361568951&type=3

Achtung!

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description in toto, look into the route details and to make it familiarise with themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else!
