Public transport: We will take the train departing at 7:13 am from platform number 27. I will buy the tickets for everyone at 7:05 AM. If you arrive after 7:05 AM, you have to buy your own ticket (expensive). We will have a coffee/beer break at 9AM in Garmisch for 30 minutes while waiting for Zugspitzbahn.
Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty level T3. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scales. Due to snow conditions the path might be harder than expected.
There are no huts on the way so please bring enough food for the whole day. We might have some drinks/snacks at Garmisch.
Things to bring:
Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.
