Description
The hike starts from the Railway Station Bayerischzehl. Then we go to the Beautiful small lake called Soinsee, where we can find more Fall colors or if we are lucky groundhogs. Then we go toward Rotwandhaus, where we can take a break, followed by the hiking up Rotwand. We get down to Traubensteinbahn (Spitzingsattel), where we take a bus to Schliersee and take the train to Munich.Spitzingsee dip is optional for the hardcore people
I expect people who are fit and do sports like running or Cycling on a regular basis. A good overall fitness level should be there. If you dont have a significant experience in Hiking Buddies please fill out this Form
If you dont know me and dont fill out this form before joining i will kick you out from the event. Also people who have previous No-Shows will be removed from the event without discussion.In addition people who have been previously removed from my events for whatever reason are also excluded from this event and not allowed to join. No discussions.
Good to know
Things to bring:
i) Hiking shoes (I will send you back if you don't come with proper hiking shoes)
ii) Hiking poles (not mandatory, but it always better to have them).
iii) Enough water for the whole day.
iv) Snacks and or food if you don't want to eat at them.
v) Proper clothes for hiking
vi) Headlamp.
vii) Gipfelschnapps or beer (not mandatory)
ix) Happy vibe (a smiling face is essential.
x) Willing to be a photographed.
xi) DAV membership for the experienced route
xii) Gaiters and spikes
xiii) Warm clothes and gloves
Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description in toto, look into the route details and to make it familiarise with themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else!
