Meeting point: Munich HBF, in front of platform number 32

Meeting time: WED, Aug 15 at 7:00 AM sharp

Public transport: We will take RE 4871 train directly to Mittenwald, the hike starts and ends at the train station Mittenwald. 

Technical Difficulty: The hike has technical difficulty: T5 with up to UIAA II climb. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for T5/II SAC scale. This hike is NOT suitable for beginners. You have to be surefooted and no fear of heights. Also, you need a good stamina, the hike is 21.5 KM long and 1800m elevation gain.

We will have lunch at Hochlandhuette, but this will come during the descent, so bring enough food/drink to avoid starvation/dehydration before reaching there. 

Things to bring:

• Hiking boots and poles
• Enough food and drink (the hut is during the descent)
• Helmet and gloves
• Sunscreen/Rain jacket (depending on weather)

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't want to come. You cannot unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
