Please read carefully before joining

Public transport: We will take the train to Geitau departing at 8:04 am from platform 34,

 Please bring enough food/drink for the whole day to avoid starvation/dehydration. Kesselalm might be open and if it is, I suggest we stop there for lunch (it’s a lovely Hut!). 

Please note that we will not go to Kirchwand as the map shows and that the route might change according to the conditions. This hike is for people who hiked before in winter conditions.

Pace will be a Weiser 1 (moderate, friendly and relaxed – I would like to enjoy a nice day in the mountains with nice people so if you are very fast – just consider it as a social event and not a sportive one ;-) ).

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket and for the food at the hut.
• Food/drinks for the way
• Gaiters (required) and spikes
• Gloves and a hat (warm winter-hiking clothes)
• Headlight (just in case)
• Sunglasses and sun cream (I am very optimistic – I know!)
• Download the route to your phone or have a map (highly recommended)
• Last but not least – good mood J

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
