Maximum participants: 15

Meeting point: Munich HBF, in front of platform number 26 (Yorna's)

Meeting time: WED, Aug 15 at 7:40 AM sharp. Train leaves at 7.59 and we'll buy the tickets at 7.45.

Good to know
Things to bring:
  • Hiking boots (poles optional)
  • Enough food and drink 
  • Sunscreen/ Rain jacket /hat (depending on weather)
  • Swimsuit & towel (for a dip in Walchensee after we finish the hike)

We can have a drink at the Herzogstand hütte after about 2 or 3 hour hiking, alternatively a nice picknick at the top of Herzogstand, and then again if we want to at Heimgarten hütte. NOTE! We will not necessarily stop at both hüttes, this is just so you know that they are available, we will decide as a group when we want to take breaks :)

Please bring enough food and water to not dehydrate, and to keep up energy levels during the day. =)

Technical Difficulty: You have to be surefooted and no fear of heights. Our pace is not super quick, but also not very slow.

Note: Out of curtesy please join / unjoin the event well in advance. Don't unjoin the event when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
