Hi,
I am planning a hike to Wallberg on 6.1. I would love to have an enjoyable hike the train and bus take 1.5 hours one way. And the last bus leaves around 5:15 pm which we will have to get. I am not sure if there will be just along the way so bring plenty of food and water.
You should also have at least some experience hiking in the snow which is more strenuous and can be dangerous so please consider whether you are comfortable before joining.
We will meet at 7:45 for a hike to Wallberg. I am going to Buy a Bayern Ticket whoever comes after 7:55 will have to get their own ticket.
Disclaimer: I am not a mountain guide and can't ensure your safety. Everyone is responsible for themselves.
What to bring:
- flashlight (due to seasons it will get darker sooner and we could need it on the way back)
- Hiking boots
- gaiters
- spikes (most probably we will have fresh snow but it is always a good idea to have them in case of icy parts)
- Water
- Food
- Appropriate clothes for a winter hike
