Description
This hike is beginner friendly, however you still should have a speed of at least ascending 400 hm/h. And you should have a little bit of experience with hiking in snow.
The plan is to take the 8:04 BOB train to Bahnhof, Fischbachau station, and start hiking at 9:13. Possible trains back to Munich from Fischbachau depart at 14:42, 15:42, 16:42, 17:42, ...
We might take a longer break at Kesselalm, which should be open on Saturday.
What to bring
- Have a good fitness level
- Gaiters
- Waterproof hiking boots
- Gloves
- Something to keep your head warm (like a beanie, or at least a buff)
- Warm, but flexible clothing (it can be freezing, or sunny and warm)
- Sunscreen, it will be quite sunny probably
- at least 1.5 liters of Water recommended
- Food/Snacks for the day.
- Headlamp, in case it gets dark before we get back down.
- Spikes/Crampons strongly recommended
Good to have equipment
- First aid kit
- Extra battery / Powerbank for your phone
- Hiking poles
- Spare socks (if your feet get wet)

BOB-MVV Ticket: Between 8 and 15 Euros per person (Bring Coins!)

Note: Please unjoin the event asap if you can't participate anymore. You can't drop out less than 12 hrs before the event starts! If you happen to be sick and have to cancel beyond those 12 hours, please drop me a message or leave a comment.
Disclaimer: Hiking can be a risky and dangerous sport. I am not a mountain guide. Everyone joins this event at her/his own responsibility. Ensure you are healthy and do not participate if you don't feel well. Should you start feeling unwell during the hike, let me know immediately.
