Description
We are beginners in Splitboarding and Ski-Touring so we are planing an easy tour along the slopes.
We will try to familiarize ourselves with the touring gear and will take it slow.
You have to ski/board good enough to go down on red slopes.
Good to know
Plan:
We will take the train at 7:13 and will start at Hausberg at 8:30.
According to the description we will need approximatly 3,5 hours to reach the Kreuzeckhaus. As we are beginers I imagine we could be a bit slower.
At the Kreuzeckhaus we can have a rest and decide wheather we want to continue to Hochalm depending on our condition and pace.
After that we can enjoy the way down the slopes of Garmisch without having to pay for daily card ;).
Possible trains back to Munich are: 15:53, 16:33, 17:25
Required gear:

- Ski/.Splitboard, ski-/splitboard binding und boots
- Interface
- Climbing skins and crampons
- Telescopic poles
- Helmet, snowboard goggles and protectors
- Avalanche safety equipment (tracker beacon, avalanche probe, shovel, airbag backpack, first aid kit, etc.) - not a must since we will be by the slopes
- Suncream protection
- Down or fleece jacket
- Functional snowboard clothes
- Something to eat and drink
- DAV or other insurance
