Description

It's a beginner friendly medium hike and should take around 5 hours. There will be snow on the way, so prepare accordingly. And please read the instructions carefully before joining the hike. Beginners are also welcome!

Meeting point: We'll meet at Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) platform 35 right before 08:55. We'll take the 09:24 train towards Schliersee. After we meet, we'll buy the group ticket for our journey so please don't be late, otherwise you have to buy the ticket for yourself.

N.B.1. The gpx file for this hike is already available. Everyone please download a gpx viewer app (e.g., bergfx, gpx viewer) in your phone and save the gpx file of the route. It is important to have the route beforehand if you get separated from the team!

N.B.2. The weather is supposed to be good on Friday. If the weather condition changes, I'll have to cancel the event. It is not recommended to take unnecessary risks.

Good to know

Things to bring:

  • Good water-proof hiking shoes are mandatory (No sneakers, sports shoes allowed).
  • Food/drinks for the way.
  • Enough Cash for the ticket.
  • Hiking sticks are highly recommended. Gaiters are also recommended.
  • As there will be snow, if you have crampons, bring them.
