Last-minute hike proposal - a hike with scenic views to Wilder Kaiser!

Medium-to-fast pace, if we feel cold and lazy - there are options to take shortcuts. 

It’s not for beginner hikers, it requires good fitness level.

Munchen Ost 7.45 at track 8 (Anna, Franz, Pablo, Vlad)

The train leaves from Munchen HBH at 7:43 ; München Ost at 7:52, platform 8.

The Petersköpfl is a 1,745m high summit in the Zahmer Kaiser, the northern ridge of the Kaisergebirge mountain range in the Austrian state of Tyrol. To the east the Petersköpfl is linked by a ridge to the Einserkogel, to the west it is separated from the Naunspitze by a wind gap. Wikipedia

The hike to Petersköpfl combined with Naunspitze is the classical hike which offers amazing views of Kaisergebirge, Pyramidenspitze and Kufstein.

The starting point of the hike is Kufstein train station. You follow the wide forest road to Vorderkaiserfelden Hut. Its fairly easy hike till this point. From the Vorderkaiserfelden Hut the Petersköpfel is reached in an hour on an easy route. The crossing to the neighbouring summit of the Naunspitze takes 20 minutes. From Petersköpfl a climbing path runs over the plateau of the Zahmer Kaiser to the Pyramidenspitze. Several short climbing routes run up a small rock slab on its western flank. Longer Alpine climbs run up its north face.

Descent same as ascent with a possibility to take a detour which is less steep.
