Meeting point: Munich HBF, in front of platform number 29

Meeting time: Sunday, 7:15 am

Public transport: We will take RB 5411 from Munich HBF at 7:32 am. At Oberau, we change to bus 9610 (or 9606), which will take us to Ettal Klostergasthof, the start and endpoint of our hike. 

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T2, and therefore "suitable for beginners" with good stamina. The last few meters to the peak Ettaler Manndl has easy ferrata, which can also be skipped, if one does not feel comfortable. Ideally, one should not need any additional equipment, but feel free to bring the via ferrata set, if you have one.

We will have lunch at the Soile alm hut, however, this will come during the descent, so please bring enough food/drink to avoid starvation/dehydration before reaching there.

Things to bring:

• Hiking boots
• Enough food and drink (the hut is during the descent) 
• Sunscreen / rain jacket (depending on the weather)
• Cash for the ticket and food/drink at the hut 

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't want to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
