Description

This weekend just one mission: Neuschwanstein! TOP SECRET! Tell no one!

Technical difficulty: This hike is graded as medium difficulty and I would like to have a pace around 500(Winter conditions: 400)

Things to bring:

  • Hiking shoes(recommended for Winter);
  • Food and water(1 or 2 litres) - there is one possibility on the way where we could eat/drink something(Tegelberghus);
  • Trekking/hiking poles;
  • Headlamp;
  • Gaiters;
  • Hiking crampons;
  • Good energy.

Optional:

  • First aid kit.

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

Good to know

We will meet at 6:20 in front of platform 30 to have time to buy the tickets. the train will leave at 6:53. The price for the ticket is between 10 and 13 Euros. After 6.35 you have to buy your own ticket!

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to message me. Also here is my telephone number: 015236301193

The trip with the train will be around two hours so we could start our hike around 9:15. My intention is to take the train back from Füssen at 18.04 and to be in Munich at 20:05(we also have options at 16:04, 17:05 or at 19:04).

Thanks and see you there!

IMPORTANT: Please announce 12 hours before the hike if you are not able to attend. If you have on your account a NO SHOW review in the last year DO NOT JOIN. Also, if you do not come on the hike, you will get a NO SHOW review and you won't be able to attend any of my hikes in the future. Thanks for understanding.

Thanks for organising Cosmin! I would move hiking crampons (grödel) to mandatory list. There might be some icy parts on the last part of the summit. Also descent to Marienbrüke can be slippery.

I will not be able to join unfortunately and it seems to be that I can no longer ‘unjoin’ the event...Please excuse me for it. However, I’m sharing this info so hopefully someone gets the free spot. Viel Spaß!
