The route start point lies in Austria, so please bring all the documents that you usually carry for border crossing.

This is a relatively easy hike which offers great views of Reute mountains as well as of Highline179. Even though we start very early from Munich, the train ride lasts for 2.5h without any changes, so it is possible to catch some sleep there.

Public transport: We take the regional train RB59447/RB5508 departing at 6:32 am from platform 27. We will arrive Reutte in Tirol at 9 am. This is the start and point of our hike

Departure time of return connection: 16:26 (2h33m), 17:01(2h25m), 19:01(2h25m) 

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty mostly in T1/T2, however, the last few meters are T3. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T2/T3. Due to snow, the route will feel more exhausting.

Dürrenbergalm is likely open, so we will have lunch there during the descent. However, please bring enough food and drinks for the whole day.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket (12 - 16 Euro), and for the food at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Warm clothes
• Gaiters (required)
• Spikes (highly recommended)
• Headlight (just in case)
• Some tolerance for snowy and rainy weather

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
