Description

Weather is looking quite good this sunday so let's check out Veitsberg near Kufstein.


There is quite a bit of snow apparently so snow shoes should be used, although the hike itself isn't that difficult.
If you don't have snow shoes, you can rent them at DAV or globetrotter.
I expect a reasonable fitness although we won't go crazy fast.

No hut on the way so bring some food for the hike but when we return back, we can get some meal at the Berggasthof Wastler

Drivers should leave at around 8am to make it in time

Please bring

  • hiking boots
  • snow shoes
  • proper hiking clothing (not accepting anybody with Jeans and / or Sneakers)
  • Scarf
  • hiking poles if you have
  • Gaiters
  • food & snacks
  • Water (I would recommend at least 1 Liter)
  • head lamp (should not be needed but just in case)
  • some cash
  • good mood
  • sun glasses and sun cream

  • DAV or similar insurance highly recommended
