The classic Hirschberg, starting from Scharling and finishing at Oberhof.

Meeting point: We will meet near the ticket machine to purchase the ticket. So, please arrive at 07:40.

Directions and timing: Starting from Munich hbf (08:04) platform 34 with BOB to Tegernsee, then bus (at 0917am) towards Wilibad Kreuth, to Scharling Hirschbergsweg Kreuth. On the way back, the same bus from Oberhof (12th minute every hour) and then the train back from Tegernsee (52nd minute every hour).

There is a hut option - Hirschberghaus (https://www.hirschberghaus.de/). However, with Covid-19 limitations e.g. limited number of people allowed, masks, etc. This limits our possibility to get a spot, yet, we could try or at least get a takeaway coffee/beer:). But, please be considerate about these restrictions.

The temperature will be 22 degrees celcius, cloudy. Prepare accordingly.

Note: I am organising a hike for the first time, and hence would appreciate any experienced people with a better understanding of maps. But, in general, we should be fine.
