Description
Hi,
A friend and I will do this hike tomorrow from Lenggries to Tegernsee. This is the first hike I am organizing on hiking buddies, so please do not expect everything to work out 100% perfect. The route seems rather easy and should not be difficult to find.
We will meet 7.45h at Munich Hauptbahnhof by the ticket machine next to platform 34. Train to Lenggries leaves 8.04h. We will buy tickets (Bayernticket) at 7.50h and then get seats (hopefully) on the the train. Train arrives 9.11h at Lenggries from where we will start the hike.
We plan to spend 1-2 hours just relaxing at Tegernsee after the hike if it is still sunny in the afternoon. And we will have to take a boat or bus to go from Bad Wiessee (end of the route) to Tegernsee Bahnhof. From there we will take the train back to Munich.
Please be aware that I am not a professional guide and that if you join it is on your own responsibility.

Please bring enough food and water for the hike.

Do you already know if we will be able to have lunch in some sort of restaurant or buy food on the way, someway? :

Hi. There is Aueralm on the way and it should be open. But it is after 2/3 of the hike and we would rather have a short break there and then have a longer rest at tegernsee. Maybe you better buy some food at main station tomorrow to be on the safe side.
