Description

My two children (7 and 10) and I are doing this hike for the very first time. I have checked how to get there and the weather, but please keep in mind that I am neither a guide nor an expert hiker in any way and that I will only be responsible for my children and myself.

We will be taking breaks to smell the flowers and enjoy the views, so this may not be the group for super fit trail runners!

It would be great to meet some new people though.

Good to know

We do not have a car and are taking the BOB 86909 from Harras towards Schaftlach til Holzkirchen. 

In Holzkirchen the BOB 87031 until Schliersee. 

There the bus 9562 until Spitzingsattel. 

Google maps expects us to be at the Kurvenlift starting point at 11:34!

Getting there was much easier and faster than we thought! This is such a good hike for beginners or families
