Certainly one of the best ridge hiking near Munich! Not very frequented by also not an insider tip anymore.

Meeting point: Munich HBF at platform 27

Meeting time: 7:15 am

Public transport: We will take RB5411 from Munich at 7:32 am, which will arrive Mittenwald at 9:27 am. From Leutasch we will take a bus back to Mittenwald

Technical difficulty: This hike reaches difficulty T5 (the descent of Mittlere Arnspitze is sometimes even rated T6/II) with grade II scrambling. The most difficult parts can be avoided by going around Mittlere Arnspitze, with some scrambling near the peak.

There is a hut before the peak, however this hut is just a shelter (i.e., unattended), and does not serve food/drinks, so you must bring your own food/drink.

Note: Please unjoin the hike well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the hike, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
