Description

Hi, as promised, I looked a bit into the route details. The plan is as follows:

Day 1: We take train to Innsbruck (IC, cost around 25€), then bus 590 to Neustift in Stubaital (Station Nürnberger Hütte) arriving around 10:40, then we follow the path up to Nürnberger Hütte, where we leave our Stuff and possibly strenghten ourselves with a snack. From that point we have a choice of paths/attractions - depending on the weather, we can take a path to Seesharte/Gamsspitz to enjoy the view, try the 'house' via Ferrata (C/D) or stroll towards the glacial lakes if the weather will not be good for us.

Plan A is to go over the Ferrata to Niederl, then descend back to the hut, if there will be time, I wanted to do some rescue exercises, see WhatsApp

Day 2: Depending on day 1, there may be a chance to do the via ferrata in the morning, else the path will lead us up to Mairspitze and over the ridge to Sulzenauhütte, where we can leave our stuff again some short ferratas await us as attraction (up to C), a trip to Hundesheim is also possible or some shorter walks, depending on the weather and the day.

Plan A is Mairspitze, then leaving our stuff at the hut, the Ferrata up, Flying fox, Ferrata down and safety exercises, see WhatsApp - there is infrastructure around this hut to conduct these exercises.

Day 3: We start early and follow one of the 3 paths - Stubaier Höhenweg, Wilde Wasser Weg (most likely, as it is a pretty nice feature!) or we cross the ridge over Großer Trögler over to Dresdner Hütte, where we enjoy a quick lunch and most likely descend down the valley.
Plan A is WildeWasserWeg, then leaving our stuff at the hut and a trip to Egsengrat. There are plenty of extras depending on the time available.

we depend on the bus 590 (last at 6pm) to take us back to Innsbruck, going back see whatsapp.

Note: Next year I will be back in the same region for a couple more days, trying a little bit longer and more demanding tours, this year I wanted to focus on exploring and exercising. I am present of the fact, there are many more tours in the area, but they may not be doable due to time constraints. Please have understanding for that. I will try to make sure we all will make it back for the dinner ;-)

Good to know

Please note the cost of getting there (€35), back (€30-35) and that it is recommended to book your ticket for the train in advance if we go for the IC. Start with the IC, ca. 7:30
Please note you will be required to transfer me €30 in advance as a deposit.

Please take food and snacks with you. I would ask you to take '2 lunches' or Lunch replacements with you. For breakfasts and dinners we have huts. Food on the day 3, see WhatsApp.

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Klettersteigset and hiking poles are recommended equipment for this tour.

Hi Artur, any possibility of rescheduling this Multi-Day Hike to 21st - 23rd August (Fri.-Sun.)?
