Description

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T4 and via ferrata B/C, please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T4. Please contact me before joining. Starting early to avoid a lot of people. We might change the route depending on conditions. In case of bad weather we might take the cable car.

Things to bring:

  • Waterproof hiking boots
  • Cash for the ride
  • Passport/ID
  • Food/drinks for the way
  • via ferrata gear
  • Crampons and ice axe
  • Sunscreen 

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

Good to know

We will meet at the starting point of the hike. Please take into account that I will drive NOT from Munich.

If we are more than 2 cars we can split cars so that we don't need to take a bus/taxi to the beginning of the hike.

Hi Tatiana, I am considering joining your car in Rosenheim as I live in Vilsbiburg. You plan to take the Zugspitzebahn back from Ehrwald to Hammersbach? I guess during the return journey I might take the train via Munich.
