Good to know

Things to bring:

i) Hiking shoes (I will send you back if you don't come with proper hiking shoes)

ii) Hiking poles (not mandatory, but it always better to have them).

iii) Enough water for the whole day.

iv) Snacks and or food

v) Proper clothes for hiking

ix) Happy vibe (a smiling face is essential.

x) Willing to be a photographed.

xi) DAV membership for the experienced route.

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description in toto, look into the route details and to make it familiarise with themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else!

Hi all, it might be a silly question, but I am hiking first time with this group and I am also new in Munich. Do we buy a group ticket or everyone should take care of it on his own? In case of latter what kind of ticket is needed? Daily Oberbayern ticket? Thanks.
