I have moved the hike to Sunday as the weather is not suitable for a hike on Saturday.


Olpererhütte provides a great view of the Zillertal Alps and the hike is moderately difficult. So expect to see a lot of people on the way. To avoid the crowd we start early and expect to reach there by 9.00 - 9.30

 I would like at least one more person to have a map with the trails gpx in it. We can do Riepenkopf or Petersköplf depending on what the group decides. And again, expect many people and also there's another hiking buddies group coming there, so let's try our best to not upset anyone ;)

Please bring the usual:

Hiking boots, hiking poles, food, water, sunscreen, enough water, cash for food at the hut (there are at least two on the way, although I would like to skip them).


Important: Unjoin in advance if you do not plan to join the event. Think about the others in the waiting list.

I recommend a visit to Petersköpfl, and for the fast ones to Hoher Riffler

Hi there, did this hike a couple of years back. I would recommend you do the hike in the anti-clockwise direction towards Olpererhütte. That way you will have a better view of the lake in front of you; And that the bridge will be emptier towards the end of the day. have fun!!
