This hike goes to the highest mountain of Zillertaller Alpen, Hochfeiler (3510), also called Gran Pilastro.

From Munich we take the FlixBus to Sterzing. Then another local bus (Linie 311) to Angerhöfe where the hike starts.

First day: Hike to Hochfeilerhütte (2710m). We get used to the heights. The hut is closed and only the winter room for 6 person is open, so a good sleeping bag and enough food must be brought.

Second day: Ascent to the Hochfeiler (3510m). The last part could require crampons so you should bring it to make sure to make it to the top. I maybe also will bring an ice axe. Afterwards we go down again and go to Pfitscherjochhaus (2276 m). This hut is open and we can eat there.

Third day: If still with power we can try to go to the Hohe Wand (3289 m). This is optional and depends on the fitness. Afterwards we go to Schlegeissee, where we can finally take a bus to Mayrhofen and from there take the train home.

The starting date of this hike is flexible in the next week, starting day can be Monday to Thursday. I will fix it soon, write in the comment section which starting day you prefer.
