Good fitness level. You should be running long distances in the mountains.
Trail running shoes you feel comfortable climbing in, I recommend firmly tipped soles.
Climbing helm recommended
Suitable, tight fitting backpack (where you can attach/stow away the helm)
Waterproof and breathable lightweight jacket
Additional clothing layers, thin gloves/ferrata gloves
Water, huts on the way to fill up in
Trail food
First aid kit, headlamp, emergency biwak and blanket
Money, ID
Charged mobile phone. Load the gpx file onto a navigation app. Familiarise yourself with the route. Make sure have my number and the emergency services number saved.
Note:
This is a long-slow-distance run. We'll be hiking the uphills and running the flats and downhills.
We stay as a group. I'm not a guide, this is not a guided tour.
