I want to go for a longer hike in Ammergau Alps this Sunday. The idea and route are from Charlie.

The plan is to take BRB62701 from München Hbf to Füssen at 05:52 and then Bus 73 to reach Neuschwanstein Castles in Schwangau at 08:13. To return, there is one train from Unterammergau to Munich every hour, the last one at 22:42.

A few more points:

• Come as light as you can. You should expect a steady 600m elevation + 5km distance per hour.
• Bring proper equipment (hiking boots/shoes, clothes/layers, water, food, navigation, head lamp, batteries, money, insurance card, etc.)
• Bring enough food and water. There are huts on the way, but only for a quick refill, not planning on staying anywhere.
• Study the route, the plan, weather conditions and everything else.

This hike is not suitable for beginners. If you don't have similar experiences please do not join. I might ask you to un-join because of experience/equipment. This is not a guided tour. You must be able to navigate yourself on the suggested route. If you join, you are fully responsible for yourself.
