According to Bergtour-online.de, Jochberg (1565m) on the Walchensee is one of the most famous hikes in the Bavarian Prealps. On the one hand because of the proximity of the hike to Munich. On the other hand, because of the great panorama, especially of all the well-known lakes in the area and many well-known mountains, such as the neighboring Herzogstand, Benediktenwand , Schafreuter and many more. The tour is usually not described as a real circular tour . However, this is highly recommended, since the way back along the Walchensee shore is not much longer, but very nice and idyllic. Overall, a great tour that enjoys great popularity on the broad summit and the nearby  Jocheralm (Mid May - mid-October) with a large terrace but enough space for everyone.

By public transport- train to Kochel is at 07:59am and for return, I intend to take a 16:14 train arriving back in Munich at 18:00. We will meet close to platform 28 near the ticket machine.
