Description

Hoher Gang is closed currently. Talking to locals who use it regularly I found out the reasons for this:

* in the middle a short section(20m) of the path is gone, scree field next to it can be used

* shortly after this a small section disappeared due to a landslide, rock above it can be used

It is therefore not recommended to use this Steig and use the detour over Ehrwalder Alm up to Seebensee.

Their cryptic warning("a bissl aufpassen dann geht das scho") should be heeded.



This is a T6 hike with scrambling up to grade II. Exposed schrofen/rock must mastered. Markings only scarcely available.
