Description

Sunset Hike to Brecherspitze. FAST and FIT hikers only


We will meet at 5 pm at Harras, buy a Bob ticket together and take the train at 5:11 to Fischhausen- Neuhaus.

We will reach the Brecherspitze by 8, cross the ridge to the chapel and watch the sunset from there (8:50), then we will return to catch the last train at 10:49.

All in all we got 4,5 hours to complete the hike and watch the sunset, don't expect any big breaks in between and we will go down in the dark. Don't forget to bring a flashlight or similar.

I will get in touch with everyone who signed up so we can create a whatsapp group and coordinate easier.

ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU CAN MAKE IT IN THIS TIME- FRAME; IT IS CRUCIAL TO CATCH THE LAST TRAIN AND WE WILL NOT WAIT FOR YOU IF YOU ARE TOO SLOW:

Good to know

Things to bring:

i) Hiking shoes 

ii) Some kind of flashlight

iii) Enough water for the whole day.

iv) Snacks and or food. We're not planning on stopping at huts

v) Proper clothes for hiking

vi) A good mood

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own. 
If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else
