Habicht is an easy 3000m peak in the Stubai Alps. The peak is very prominent and provides an excellent view on the surrounding mountains.

The idea is to drive to Gschnitz on Friday evening (departure time is flexible), spend the night, and start hiking very early in the morning to avoid the heat and to have enough time for the long ascend. The drive takes about 2,5 to 3 hours. The costs will be split between all participants.

A break at the Innsbrucker Hütte at about the halfway point will be possible on the way up and the way down.

Please contact me before joining. I can drive and take three people in my car. There are several cheap places to stay in Gschnitz. The forecast for Saturday is very good.
