Description

Potentially okay for fit beginners, but not first-timers. It is forecast to be 30+C Friday so we will take breaks as needed.

We will meet at Munich Hbf Platform 33 at 8:40AM and purchase Bayerntickets at 8:45AM. Latecomers will need to purchase their own tickets. The train leaves at 9:04AM. Then we will catch a bus from Fischhausen-Neuhaus station to Spitzingsee to begin the hike.

We will aim to have lunch near Rotwandhaus, and enjoy a swim at Soinsee. We will finish the hike Osterhofen. The train comes every hour.

Bring:

  • Mask
  • Enough water (2-3L)
  • Sunscreen
  • Hiking boots
  • Snacks
  • Swimwear and Towel
  • Charged mobile phone (ideally download the gps map offline)
  • Rainjacket
