Description
Organizing a sunset hike by Tegernsee.
This hike is for hikers with some experience, a decent level of fitness, who are relatively fast and comfortable hiking in low lighting. We're hoping to climb the 3km to the summit (500 vertical m) in 1-1.5 hours. In true Hiking Buddies tradition there may be some sprinting over the last kilometre on the way down to catch a train.
We meet at 16:45 at the end of track 26, by Yormas and are taking the Bob at 17:04 from Munich to Tegernsee station, hiking up Neureuth, watching the sunset and then coming down to take the 21:50 or 22:50 pm train back to München.
Bring:
- A headlamp!
- your hiking shoes/boots
- cash for the train ride (10-15 Euro)
- a bit of water
- a small snack

- Your swimsuit and a towel (we might go for a swim if we miss the first train)
