Description
THINGS HIGHLIGHTED ARE EDITED PLEASE READ AND UNJOIN IF YOU CANT / DONT WANT TO COME
NO PROBLEM GOING TO AUSTRIA IF YOU HAVE a resident permit in germany as long as in the last 10 days you were in Germany and NOT in your home country or one of the "red" areas

Its a long hike and its going to be hot (max. Temp. 27°C). So people with good stamina are recommended to join. Doesn't seem to be a difficult hike though.

Hike over Fernpass before passing five iconic lakes of the region.

Supposed to be a very scenic hike. Plus the pass through 5 lakes should make it up for the heat.
The Fernpass (1,212m) from its lesser-known side. An historic and important mountain pass, the landscape is dotted with a series of lakes. A leisurely trail through sparse mountain forest takes you from Ehrwald to Weissensee, Mittelsee and the idyllic Blindsee. From the pass, follow a panoramic trail to Samerangersee and finally to Fernsteinsee.
Werdenfels ticket: Meeting time is 06:00 near Pl. 27 München hbf. At 06:10 we will buy the tickets. So please dont be later than that.
Train Connection: 06:32; Pl. 27; RB59447; 08:29 get down at Ehrwald Zugspitzbahnhof and start walking to the starting point from there.
Finishing the hike would require approx. 6 hrs. plus breaks.
After enjoying (swimming, laying etc) at the Fernstein-lake, we have to take the VVT Bus Nr. 150 from Fernstein to Ehrwald which is at 18:31. (5,10 euros PP extra for the bus ticket)
Return: From Ehrwald Zugspitzbahn 19:31 return train to Munich can be taken I guess. Which will get us back to Munich at 9.30 pm.  (This is the only feasible return connection available!)
People who have time pressure to be back in Munich, please don't join. It's a long hike and might be plus and minuses depending on speed and other things.
Slow to medium paced hike while enjoying the nature.
Things to bring:
1. Passport (especially for non-EU ppl. as we will be in Austria) / Photo ID (all)
2. Hiking Boots
3. 1.5 - 2 Lit. Water
4. Enough food for the day
5. Cash (approx. 15 euros for werdenfels + VVT Bus tickets)
6. Swimming suit and towel if we have time and you wish to swim.
7. A smile with a friendly nature.
8. Mask

I am not an official hike organiser. I am not responsible for anyone. Everyone is responsible for his/her own safety and well-being.

Hello participants, because there is a problem in the train connection on the route, not all connections are available so our choices are narrowed down. So I am changing the meeting time and hike time. We will now be taking the 6:32 am connection. RB59447 from Pl. 27. So the meeting time will be 06:00 am at Pl. 27 and 06:10 I will buy the tickets. For return, we have only one feasible option which is we take the Bus 150 from Fernstein at 18:31 and take the Return train from Ehrwald at 19:31 which will get us back in Munich at 21:26. For whoever the timings doesnt work, please unjoin the event. Also according to the read information of the Corona law, NO PROBLEM GOING TO AUSTRIA IF YOU HAVE a resident permit in germany as long as in the last 10 days you were in Germany and NOT in your home country or one of the "red" areas. I am just editing the event.
