Description
This is an easy route, perfect for beginners. Do not get frustrated from the map, the elevation is not so high, though it has lots of ups and down through the 8km trail. The route is so scenic with multiple resting places surrounding the lake, but still it is a hike; we won't be resting at every single scenic spot.
Good to know
We will meet Sunday 9/August/2020 @ 6:00 am in Munich Hbf, we can not start earlier because the trip to Eibsee Bushalt, Grainau would last for around 2 hours. The train departure is at 6:30, but it is better to come earlier so you might have the chance share the price of the Bayern ticket with others. Usually restaurants are very crowded on the weekend so we won't eat at a restaurant there, but you can bring your own food. It is an easy hike, but still i have to remind you that you are on your own responsibility.
Some tips for the hike:
1) Put on you hiking boots
2) Get enough water and snacks/food
3) Bring money for the Bayern Ticket
4) And most importantly wear your genuine smile, that you have to hide with a MASK while being in the train/bus

Hello Punit, please bring your own food, we want have lunch at a restaurant, maybe we will have drinks but not lunch.

There a slight change of plan for the hike tomorrow. The train we will take from the hauptbahnhof to Garmisch-Partenkirchen will stop at Marnua, and then we should take the bus to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The bus from Garmisch-Partenkirchen towards Untergrainau Banhof won't drive before 10:24 am, which would make it really impossible to do the hike. I am sorry for that, but I can make it up for you by planing another easy hike, from Uffing to Murnau, relatively harder than the Eibsee, but still easy and scenic hike. The duration of the hike is 3 hours 30 minutes, it is around 14 km long and the total gain is 170 m.
We will met at the same time at Munich Hbf, please update you participation status if you do not want to join anymore. I am sorry for the confusion, again if you have any further questions you can contact me.
