Technical difficulty: This is a high alpine tour with scrambling upto grade II on icy conditions. In order to join this event, you have to make sure that you have done glacier course and at least 3 hochtours with glacier traversal. The glacier on the Italian side of Mont Blanc is technically difficult.

Plan:  We will take the bus from Courmayer at 10:30 to Val Vani. That's the starting point of the hike. We start the hike around 12 and stay overnight at Rifugio Gonella, they have plenty of space for Sunday night. We start the hike at 1:30 am, expected time to arrive Mont Blanc is 7 hours.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots type C
• Helmet
• Glacier equipments
• Cash for the car ride and for the food at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Warm clothes 

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
