Hi Buddies!
The plan is to make a technically easy, yet quite long hike on Saturday. It's starts with the amazing Wolfsklamm in Austria and takes us over picturesque hills all the way to Achensee. From there we aim to catch the bus 9550 to Tegernsee. If there is enough time and the weather is kind we will jump into Achensee.
We will most likely not have enough time to have proper lunch uphill so please bring some snacks and of course enough water :)
The train to Stans leaves at 6.41, since one of our participants is coming all the way from Regensburg she will take care of the ticket and we can just jump in and catch on sleep on the way or chat. Please note that we need the Werdenfels + Innsbruck Ticket which is slightly more expensive than the Bayern Ticket (15€ each if 5 people chip in).
Update:
due to a high number of participants I increased the limit to 10 :)
Forecast - at this point rain is pretty certain, however, it shouldn't start until afternoon. I updated the route a little, since we're leaving early we should be down by 4-5, if the rain starts earlier and makes it difficult, there's a cable car by the end of the trail which would save us about an hour (and keep us dry). Also, using this option we could chill at the hut a little :)
If the foreacast worsenes even further, I'd just do the Klamm and head to Tratzbergschloss nearby. It's a beautiful one with a good restaurant near it :)
Hope to see you there!
