Hey everyone,

The weather for Sunday looks okay-ish for now, so I'm planning the following hike close to Füssen :

It's an easy-intermediate hike with some (seemingly) great views! I intend to take the train from Munich Hbf and it takes about 3 hours to get there, so we'll have to start early at 7:30AM. We hope to be back by 6:00PM. 

I'm keeping the max participants to 15 so please join ONLY if you really intend to come. I'm afraid I'll have to ban all last minute no shows from all future hikes.

Hoping to see some old and new faces! :)

We meet at Munich Hbf Platform 27-36 (will update in the chat group once I know better) NO LATER THAN 7:30AM. We will buy Bayern tickets together in groups of 5 so please be there on time (earlier the better) so that you're not left out to buy your own ticket. The train leaves at 7:52AM and reaches Füssen at 9:55AM. We then take the bus to Weißensee Oberkirch and start the hike from there. Be aware that if you miss the morning train, there are no trains for another hour. You are of course welcome to join the group directly at Füssen or Weißensee Oberkirch if you want to go by car or can reach via an alternate route. We start the hike sharp at 10:20AM since we need to get back on time as well.

It does not seem like there is a restaurant in the middle of the route, so do pack some snacks for yourself if you feel like, we can of course stop for food/drinks at the end of the hike, or pizzas when we get back to Munich.

Here is a short list of items (not exhaustive) to bring :

0. Mask and Hiking shoes
1. ID card or Passport.
2. Spare change (to pay for the train ticket)
3. Plenty of water/juices for yourself.
4. Food (as you feel necessary)
5. Trash packs
6. First Aid stuff

Hey everyone, thanks for joining! I might increase the number of max participants later but if you decide not to come, please remove your name from the list at least 12 hours before the hike (that is, by Saturday 7pm) so that people from the waiting list have a chance. No last minute no-shows please!
